A very special package came through this week, straight from Steven at Railcar Fine Goods in downtown L.A. , I have been in love with the "Spikes" cut from them, it is very flattering, clean and sharp. Ever since I got the brown denim Spikes sometime ago, it has been the only pair of jeans I've been wearing..sorry to my other denims but I really love this cut and also the brown denim. To make things better, now I own another pair made with beautiful 13.5oz Cone Mills red line selvedge denim. The weight is just perfect for this humid weather I currently live in. I am really looking forward to start wearing it and break em in. I believe it will look very good for dressed up and casual wear. A very big "Thank you" to Steven for this beautiful pair. Here are some details for the RMJSPIKESX001 cut:

• 100% Cotton selvedge denim fabric from the Cone Mills White Oak plant in North Carolina.
• Thick Raw leather patch with burnt in Ralicar logo
• Selvedge details on fly and coin pocket
• Chain stitched hem
• Single continuous chain stitch on the waistband, tucked in to prevent unraveling
• Railcar's "R" stitch on the fly for reinforcement and locking the waistband chain stitch
• 2 piece waistband, preventing rear gapping and to produce a nice "atari" when broken in
• hand hammered traditional washer rivets
• 2 tone stitching with total of 4 colours in the jeans
• Screen printed Railcar logo on the heavy cotton pocket bags
• belt loops tucked into waistband for extra strength
• made on non- automated traditional jeans making sewing machines, now this is what I call hand made!
• Clean and smooth construction
